Claridon sits on the south end of Vashon Island with older single-story homes built on sloped lots that drain toward Quartermaster Harbor. Persistent winter rain and fog collect under crawl spaces and behind siding, letting mold take hold in wall cavities and subfloors. Our crew reaches these properties quickly via 97th Ave SW and works around tight driveways and mature trees without tearing up yards.
We map moisture with thermal cameras, remove affected drywall or insulation, and apply antimicrobial treatments that match the island’s marine air. Every job ends with clearance testing so Claridon residents can reopen rooms the same day when possible. The 24/7 line at our Vashon base means we can start containment before a small leak turns into a full-room remediation.

Mold Remediation Service Burton in Claridon — Local Notes
- •Claridon lots often sit on clay-heavy soil that holds water against foundations after storms, pushing humidity into crawl spaces.
- •Many homes here date to the 1960s-1970s with limited ventilation under the main floor, so mold frequently appears first along rim joists.
- •Narrow private roads off 97th Ave SW limit equipment size, so we stage containment and HEPA units in smaller sections than on mainland jobs.
- •Salt air from nearby Quartermaster Harbor accelerates corrosion on metal HVAC components once moisture levels rise.
